Matthias helps developping the firm’s strategy and M&A work, supporting private equity funds, family offices and corporates across the full transaction lifecycle – from target screening through due diligence to post-merger integration and creating value throughout the holding period and ahead of a new sale.
With more than twenty-five years’ experience, Matthias has led strategy, growth and transaction projects in many sectors: industrial products and services, machinery and automation, materials and chemicals, professional and technical education services and even consumer products. Much of his industrial work has centred on the components that underpin Archery’s three areas of excellence – Aerospace & Defence, Transport and Energy – such as motors and generators, sensors, hydraulics, precision milling and MRO services. Over his career, Matthias has held roles at Siemens, Booz Allen Hamilton (now PwC Strategy&), Deloitte as well as boutique advisory firms such as valantic.
Matthias is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Henley Business School, he works fluently in German and English.
